Get to know your new favorite tee—The Solomonic dynasty, also known as the House of Solomon, was a dynasty of the Ethiopian Empire formed in the thirteenth century. Its members claim lineal descent from the biblical King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba.
The front and back of the shirt depict Haile Selassie with other Ethiopian nobles in 1930.
The right sleeve of the jacket depicts Menelik II who became emperor of Ethiopia in 1889. After his army defeated Italian forces at the Battle of Adwa in 1896, Ethiopia maintained its's sovereignty as the only country in Africa not colonized by a European force.
